I am not that great at offering trades that will change the whole make-up of my team. Is it possible for any of you to help me decide what my team needs and who I can trade for? I am in 4th place with no potential to move up any higher unless I make a move.

10 team Roto league

R HR RBI SB AVG W SV K ERA WHIP

My team:

C- Soto

1b- Garko

2b- Uggla

3b- Chase Headley

SS- Jeter

OF- Sizemore

OF- Fukudome

OF- Torii

UTIL- Ryan Howard

BN- Beltre

DL- Pujols

SP- Lohse

SP- Laffey

RP- Valverde

RP- Francisco Cordero

RP- Gregg

SP- Wellenmeyer

SP- James Shields

SP- Bedard

SP- Joe Saunders

SP- Rich Harden

SP- Armando Galaragga

I am 3rd in runs, 1st in HR's, 1st in RBI's and decent in everything else aside from .AVG and ERA

I need some major pitching help, I already know that, but dont know what I can give up to get it. Any ideas?

  1. Move Bedard, Jeter, Beltre

Go after Pettite, Lackey, and Christian Guzman to replace Jeter

    Stop Spamming, Kevin B

  2. find a team with a weak spot at 1B, offer up Pujols. you're good in HR & RBI, and although Pujols helps in other areas too, he's your best bait, and has the name recognition that many look for. and he's coming off the DL this week. look for a Sheets or Kazmir who's picking up wins and Ks.

or find a team with solid pitching and offer Pujols and Laffey for 2 pitchers. even if Laffey or Galarraga or Wellenmeyer is unexciting to them, some people may give up 2 solid pitchers for Pujols and any old toss-in.

i would be trying to trade Lohse while he's hot- he's this month's Cliff Lee. a career sub-.500 record and his current ERA is more than a full point under his career ERA.

    good luck.
