Quantum Physics: The presence of a wave nature in sub atomic particles. The vital difference between a wave and a solid particle is the wave properties of superposition and modulation. Put simply, these properties allow waves of different frequencies to occupy the same space at the same time without direct interaction. Therefore, it is possible for parallel universes to exist separated by a difference in some fundamental wave characteristic.

Michael B. Scott BSc. Graduate in Astrophysics, Edinburgh University

If quantum physics are accepted science, then the possibility exists that when we die we may go there, and from time to time, we see the departed, and maybe they see us.

  3. This is in my home so I knd of know where some of the people went.  LOL

  4. In the words of A C Clark

either we are alone in this universe or we are not

either prospect should be equally frightening

    According to R Dawkins

    this is it

there is no more for us but to pass on our genes to the next generation

    then hasta la vista baby

then we have choice and hope ( or delusion)

    thanks dawkins (not)

    is there an answer

either there is or there isnt

    then we keep on studying

    religion

    quantum physics

in the words of the subway grafitee on the north melbourne loop about 1990

if you are not looking for the answer you are part of the problem

  5. With regard to the Big One, I quote Watts' attitude to death:

"You were kicked off a precipice when you were born and it's no use clinging to the rocks for security on the way down."

    - The Book, 1967

    ...

"I'm not saying that there is no afterlife, but that believing in it keeps us in bondage."

    The Book, 1967

  6. Your interpretation is laxed as the very existence of quantum mechanics does not allow the existence of two identical particles of energy in the same place. It is possible to replace the particles but not have two exact particles, hence the theory of dimensions where the same particle has greater or less energy in parallel. Which are two different theories all together. Quantum mechanic s is an accepted science but quantum physics is something else that you will have to explain when asking again...

  7. Another theory, supported by all the evidence. Is Ones "life force"ceases to exist at death.Continuing to live on only in the memories of those you've shared your life with.Your physical being returning to the earth, born again in new life. A beautiful act of nature proving life goes on.I like that one better. It's a lot "Greener" I think.Less arrogant too.We put way too much value in our "life force".

  8. Quantum mechanics is the law that keeps things and mass in order in the universe , the glue. Keeps things from flying apart and follows the law of QM. for instance if a huge asteroid hit earth and sent it on a new course, it would eventually return to its exact original orbit around the sun.

so in that respect of theory?  a parallel universe might be completely opposite laws of are own. and as far as dieing in an energy form? ha .... you made this up as far I can tell we are nothing but electrified synapse in our little concience delusional brain of what is real and what is not until your hold your hand in a fire and wake up... yes pain is pretty real.

  9. So ghosts are real?

  10. Sure, it's possible. The fellow with the bachelor's degree seems to be simplifying the situation a little bit, but conjecture is a mental exercise that can lead to a hypothesis which can then lead to theory, if confirmed. However, at this point it's incorrect to say "in theory", especially in regards to a scientifically undefined "life force".
