i went to sleep with my book in my hand because there was a power out. so i just put my book in my bed. later that night i woke up to something that was pounding on the under side of my bed. i went to sleep sweating and scared. my dog had no idea what had happended he didnt even bark. i woke up again later and went about brushing my teeth and stuff. i came back in my room to make my bad and see that there was no book in my bed. it was set neatly on two shoe boxes a couple feet from my bed. i think that it took my glasses too.i dont know where my glasses are now? is a ghost fooling with me? me and my family built this house.so im pretty sure no one died in it. and this is all going on in my room. what do i do?

is it a ghost ,? , my life guardian? what is it. i dont know if its helping me or just trying to scare me. should i try to cummunicate with it?

  1. Either call sylvia brown or a psychiatrist......

  2. Don't be scared,[easier said than done} Ask, outloud, that your glasses be returned, you need them. Also ask that the banging stop. Then ask them to leave. Surround yourself with whitle light before even starting. Tell them to go toward their well earned peace. Good luck. Hope   Remember to hv faith.

  3. You misplaced your glasses, you moved the book (either on purpose or accidentally) and you have a dog that can make sounds and move things.

There are no such things as ghosts or life guardians.

You are not 100% conscious or coherent either as you're falling asleep or else right after you wake up.  You move things around when you're asleep.

  4. Spirits sometimes do this. They cause things to shake, lights to blink, ring the phone, etc. It's  nothing to worry about, really.Whoever it is just wanted you to acknowlege them, but,if you don't want them around, just say so.Simply tell them that you felt them&it's time to go to the other side.Again,I think whoever manifested in your room doesn't mean you harm, but for your own peace of  mind,do as I ask, okay?

  5. Good thing I read the comment above me... Im not planning on reading it becauise I dont wanna get scared( Ive seen some "ghosts" in my house) But yea .... I get scared easily.. last time I saw a video on the internet I was scared of closet in my room for about a week..

I read part of it......Know that its not the house that determines if its haunted or not.. Its the land.....How long the land has been there.. Any previous buildings

  6. Things that happen that are believed to be paranormal are 95% explainable.  Well what does that say?  5% can not be explained. I have been on this earth for quite a few years and have seen some strange things.  Typically speaking poltergeists are playful and naughty little spirits who like to play jokes and tricks on people. Ghosts don't hang around the living.  Next time this happens and it scares you explain it to it. Ask it to please stop because it is scaring you.  I know it may sound wierd but can't hurt

  7. omg am scared now 2! thx..guess im sleepin with parents tonight..:/

  8. i am kinda scared now thx a lot

  9. maybe mom/dad went in your room while your where brushing your teeth.

maybe your dog knocked into something, or maybe you dropped you book in the dark, or while you where sleeping.

maybe you sleep walk. ever video tape yourself while your sleeping?

doesn't that sound more realistic to you?

or is life just soo boring you have to create beings of other dimensions that pick you as their main source of entertainment?

I will say it MIGHT be possible, but highly unlikely

  10. You can do some weird c**p when you're sleeping and not necessarily remember it. Just the other day I was half awake and thought I needed to unplug my lamp...and I was very careful not to unplug the clock because my guide told me I had the wrong one...so I unplugged it and went back to sleep.

When I woke up in the morning, I went to turn the light on and I couldn't figure out why the light would come on...so I had to stop and think about it and was 'reminded' that I had sat up and pulled out the plug.

Ok, so I felt sort of stupid...but I can see how somebody might think it was "paranormal" because when I went to bed the light was plugged in.

And just a reminder; something was there BEFORE your house so nobody had to die in your house to be there.

  11. place things and put tape so you know where it was exactly. Then you can find out what is going on.

  12. Yeah, that is pretty scary. If I were you, I'd set a video camera  up and leave it on all the time to try to get it on tape. You might try talking to it. Turn on a tape recorder or something, ask questions, and wait for answers. You might get it talking on tape.  I'd also try to get rid of the thing too, but I don't know how you can do that.  Some new houses can be haunted by ghosts of poeple who died where the place is built, or even if they just died nearby. If a haunted house is torn down or burned, they're likely to move next door. I don't know why. Most ghosts hang around because they don't realize they're not alive anymore, and most times they'll go on if they can be convinced they're dead. But some just like to hang around and play with people for some reason.

  13. it was probably someone but, here`s a way 2 find out:

www.realmagick.com clilck on it and i was thinking of typing in a pendulum divinatian in the search box but be very careful and try 2 click on the body mysteries! good luck and now im really scared but i learned that there is nothing 2 be scared of cuz it`s only a reaction in your body, like the cave man reaction thingy! o and also ghosts are afraid of dog blood and i think sheep!

  14. No it is not a ghost.  The taping most likely was the dog scratching or waging his tail.  The Glasses are exactly where you put them.  You just forgot where that is.  Probably on the floor.  The book also is where you put it.  No it is not a ghost.

  15. i agree with 4evaursz, thanxs a lot! the only thing i can suggest is too sleep with ur dog in ur bed and move out quickly. that's what i would do!!!

  16. First off don't be scared.  We had a sprit in our house - he did irritating things like - noise at night, noise in rooms that were empty, no light bulb could last a week in our house and more often than not I would find our cat staring intently at a certain corner in the living room.  Unnerving - oh yeah.  So I contacted 'The Ghost Whisperer' not Jennifer Love Hewitt, but the woman the show is based on Mary Ann Winooski - who lives here in Cleveland.  This lovely woman informed me that sprits in house can be annoying but as a rule not harmful. (Except the light bulb thing was getting a bit expensive)

She offered to come and "clean" the house for me - but I decided to try a more direct approach.

One afternoon when not only the cat but both dogs were staring at the corner, two light bulbs blew at the same time,  Pepsi was knocked over on the white living room carpet (that may have been the dogs) and I could not find my car keys anywhere I just "lost it" -- I looked into that corner and said, "look I don't know who you are or why you're here - but if you don't start behaving I will call Mary Ann and your ghost butt will be out of here - so if you want to stay you better start being something I can live with ... or chip in on the mortgage payment."

Since then things have been pretty peaceful - light bulbs last longer and the noises have stopped.  I still occasionally have the feeling of being watched when I am home alone - but it's a benign feeling.  I still find the cat staring at the corner - but not as often.

If he starts acting up again I will call Mary Ann - but so far I've had no reason. :)

  17. You're scaring the kids! LOL. I don't really believe in ghosts, but my mom and all her sisters and brothers do. They say that they had a ghost once at their house, when they were teenagers. They say "he" used to move things and stuff like that. They say they brought a religious guy or something and he did something to make the ghost go away.....they say it worked lol.

Could it be that you're just hallucinating? I used to have sleep paralysis (it doesn't last longer than 3 minutes) and I usually had some hallucination associated with it. The hallucinations I had seemed like reality. It's funny how your mind can fool you sometimes.
