I know this, but it is driving me CRAZY that I cannot remember it. And no, it's not that thing on Star Trek. It's a weapon that has a handle that has several hand holds on a single-staff (on one side of the weapon), and either 3 or 4 (sometimes 5) crescent shaped blades on the other end of the weapon. In other words it is a 'flat weapon', but when you pick it up by the handles (usually wrapped like a Kitana) the blades are cut into the metal and curved in a semi-circle across the other edge. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? I've seen these things in Martial Arts demonstrations, and surprisingly enough, in the collection of 'blades' that they sell at head-shops. Get this into my head so I can get it out of my head, please!!! And thanks!

  3. Do you mean the twin swords used in a lot of old school Shaolin kung fu films? If so, then you're probably referring to the Tiger Hook swords shown in the pic at the site below.
