A tough clash expected in West Row 375 - Dupl.
A tough battle amongst greyhounds is expected in the West Row 375 - Dupl. at Mildenhall in England on Tuesday, May 22, 2012. A cash prize of £150 will be awarded to the winner of the Grade OR event.
Both the speed and stamina of all runners will be tested to some extent, as the overall distance to cover is 375 metres. The action is scheduled to start at 21:30 GMT and a total of six fierce competitors have been attracted towards the event. Their names
are as follows: Blackrose Ned, Redhot Desert, Warning Sign, Sundance Jet, Droopys Doctor and Lughill Penny.
Although there is no clear favourite for the race, Sundance Jet appears to be in the best shape compared to all his rivals. His recent form has been spectacular, thus it will be a good idea to place the maximum number of bets in his favour.
The S. Bale’s trainee has won twice out of his previous three Grade OR events, which shows the kind of form he is in at the moment. Other than his victories, he also finished runner up on one occasion, which is a very positive sign.
Importantly, the black dog seems to enjoy running at Mildenhall, as his performances at this venue have been terrific. He ended up first in his most recent run and is expected to repeat a similar show today as well.
Sundance Jet was rated as favourite to win back then and he did not disappoint his team, winning by a comprehensive margin of three and a half lengths. He was in control of the proceedings right from the start and kept on increasing the gap from others towards
the end.
It will be extremely difficult for other runners to match the skills of Sundance Jet, who is the son of Droopys Maldini out of Offshore Sox and was born in October 2009.
Looking at the performances of the other runners, Redhot Desert might also win some bets from the punters, as he is a quality runner. However, he is not carrying good momentum at the moment, as he finished sixth in his most recent run.
Blackrose Ned and Warning Sign cannot be ruled out completely, as the competition will be too close between these four runners.
