A tough competition expected in Dom Treen´s Last Night Of Freedom Stakes
A close competition amongst greyhounds is expected in the Dom Treen´s Last Night Of Freedom Stakes at Belle Vue in England on Friday, October 5, 2012. None of the runners are in dominant form at the moment, thus the Grade A1 event will be an exciting one
and the winner will be awarded a cash prize of £106 in it.
The overall distance to cover for all the participants will be 470 metres, which means that they will have to be careful while approaching this event. Things will not be easy for them and their respective teams will be under immense pressure.
On the other hand, the punters will also be a touch nervous right now, as there is not clear favourite to win the race. The might go with the bookies, who have given the best odds to Aranock Solo, as he seems to be confident at the moment. She will enter
the race with a starting price of 9 to 4 and has been slotted in trap number one, which is a very good position.
The N. Saunders’ trained b***h has been doing a reasonable job in this class, but things have not worked out with consistency for her. She will need to make a lot of improvement in order to finish at the top of the table at Belle Vue.
The blue and white b***h took part in a couple of back-to-back Grade A1 contests at Belle Vue and her performances in them were good. She finished as a runner up in the first one, but failed to cause many problems for her rivals last time around, settling
for fourth position in the end.
There is also an outside chance for Downsizing to surprise one and all with his skills in the race today. He has been priced 3 to 1 and will get the attention of the bettors because of his talent.
The M. Barber’s trained hound was unable to complete his most recent race in this class, but will be confident of a positive show today. He finished on top of the table prior to that in a Grade A2 contest and will look to carry that momentum into today’s
event.
