A close competition is expected in the SDS Racing Excellence Apprentice Training Series Handicap at Bath in England on Wednesday, September 5, 2012. None of the runners seem to be in a position to dominate the proceedings, thus anyone of them could shine
in the end to claim the cash prize of £1,617.
A total of 13 entries have been confirmed for the class-6 race, which is scheduled to start at 17:20 GMT, but it is extremely difficult to predict whether which one of the contestants will be able to finish at the top.
The going will also be good, which means that no one will have any issues with the conditions. Some of the runners do a decent job on a wet track, but they will not be given that opportunity today.

The veteran gelding has not been in good form over the past many events and it will not be easy for him to take the top spot. However, he will not get a better opportunity than this to regain his form and confidence.
The nine-year-old runner has participated in a total of 83 races and his strike rate is on the lower side, as he has managed to win just six events. In addition to that, he has finished as a runner up on nine occasions whereas secured the third spot on the
same number of times.
In 2012, the Tony Newcombe’s trainee has appeared in just one race, which took place at Bath. However, he was unable to make any impression in it and finished in a disappointing 10th place out of 11 runners.
Agnes World’s son has appeared in a total of four races at this venue, but has never managed to win any of them. His last victory came in June 2010 and he will be looking to break the shackles today under young jockey, David Bergin.
