A town has a sum of money, which do u think is important, upgrade the houses or build a hospital? Why?

Some of the villagers wanted to upgrade their house, which were old and dirty.But some of the villagers wanted to build a new hospital, because the old one was to far from the town. Tell me ur opinion, Please give examples, Thanks!

  1. The key here is you stated that "A town" has a sum of money.  There can only be one logical answer here.  If the money belongs to the town, then the hospital upgrade is the only choice left.  Private home owners are responsible for the maintenance of their own property as well as any desired upgrades.  This is not a municipal investment like a hospital might be.


  2. upgrade the hospital-main selling point for population and business-drawback on spending money on houses-people would not upgrade thinking city will pay for it

  3. Upgrade the houses, since bigger, better houses will attract people to the town, creating a larger tax base that can then be used to fund the building of a new hospital.
