i thought i understood transformers well, but perhaps i dont know the relationship of frequency. can someone help with these?!

In a transformer, two coils of wire are wound around a toroidal iron core. Answer true or false.

True False If the primary coil has more turns, the secondary has the same frequency.

True False If the primary coil has more turns, the secondary voltage is lower.

True False If the primary coil has fewer turns, the secondary has lower frequency.

True False If the primary coil has fewer turns, the secondary voltage is higher.

True False If the primary has more turns, the secondary frequency is lower.

True False If the primary coil has more turns, the secondary has higher frequency.

True False If the primary coil has fewer turns, the secondary frequency is higher.

  1. There is such a thing as a variable transformer. It changes the frequency going in and out. However, the normal transformer does not change the frequency in any way.

    For the other questions keep the following equation in mind;

    Vs/Vp=Ns/Np

    Vs is the voltage going out of the transformer. Vp is the voltage going in to the transformer.

    The N's are the number of windings on the primary (p) side and secondary(s) side.

    If Ns/Np is less than one, then Vs is smaller than Vp. If Ns/Np is greater than one then Vs is larger than Vp.

    Now use this information to answer the questions true and false.
