I was driving down the streets of Wentworth following a SUV honda, i didn't get the license plate number, but he turned into 22nd st like he was going to make a u-turn which that was not proper, he didn't have enough space to turn, i was following in back of him when he turned on to 22nd pl. I saw his reverse light on and i try to reverse my car so we don't collide, I can't see the cars in back of my car because i was in the intersection of 22nd pl and wentworth. The car reverse and hit my car. I know i was late for work so i went and go around his car and find parking then went to work. If this guy was to ask me to go to court what other penalties i would face for running from someone else hitting my car?

  1. Since you did not make a police report the other driver can file one against you for hit and run which in most states can result in an arrest and a steep fine.....

  2. As i understand the only thing you could be held accountable for is failure to report an accident if the other guys morphs into a jerk and tries to hold you responsible for any damages he has.  As far as the accident itself.  His fault.  If he did not do any appreciable damage to your car and you don't mind then you should be clear.
