  1. Here are some web sites with some great vegan/vegetarian food.

    Here are some good recipes:

Stir fry- You need cut up tofu, soy sauce, olive oil, steamed veggies, and cooked rice

Get a frying pan and coat it with olive oil. The put the tofu in the pan and brown each side of it. Next, add the veggies. Add a little soy sauce and put in the rice. Mix everything up and then let it sit on the stove, occasionally stirring it to make sure it doesn't burn. After about a minute and a half of that put it in a bowl and enjoy!

Hummus- chick peas, lemon juice, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and any other spices/seasonings you like

Puree the chick peas. Then add a little lemon juice, paprika, pepper, and other spices. Then stir. Serve with a pita, with cucumbers, or on a veggie wrap.

Here are some snack and dinner suggestions:

  2. Hello Kayl,

Vegans eat fruits, vegetables, nuts, beans and anything else that isnt an animal or didnt come from an animal. :)

Here are some sites full of Vegan recipes

    http://www.fatfreevegan.com/

    http://allrecipes.com/Recipes/Everyday-C...

    http://www.veganconnection.com/recipes/i...

I am thinking about becoming a Vegan myself..

  3. Not restrictive at all, if you are creative and love to cook.  Here's an example:

  4. Health food stores are our best friends. You can find vegan versions of pretty much any animal product there. Very gradually, many mainstream food stores are starting to offer many of the same vegan items that health food stores do as more and more people make the switch to a healthier and more compassionate life.

  5. Fruits, vegetables, grains, beans, nuts, soy products...

Specific meals obviously are up to the individual.  Some may use a lot of substitutes for meat and dairy products while others may just eat things that don't have meat, eggs, or dairy.

Sandwiches, wraps, pasta, rice dishes, cereal, soups, chili, almost anything you can think of can be made vegan.

The restrictive part is in social situations where the food served has not been made vegan.

  6. We eat anything that doesn't p**p.

Or that comes from something that poops.

  7. I think that they eat anyting that is not from an animal, but I'm not sure since I'm ot a vegan.

  8. pretty much anything youd like, if theres something with animaly product (s) in it, then theres most likely a vegan version

  9. Anything that is not from the animal kingdom

  10. Anything I want.

I know how to cook and I don't rely much on processed convenience foods.  Because of that, veganism is not even the tiniest bit restrictive.  I base my meals around fruits, vegetables, beans/legumes, grains, nuts, seeds, herbs, spices and oils and I can have whatever I want.

I make soups and stews, casseroles, curries, stir fries, pasta dishes, Mexican food, just about anything you can think of can be made vegan.  It's just about learning to plan meals that don't center around a slab of flesh.

  11. they can eat many things aslong as its not animal based...which isnt restrictive as you might think...just requires more reasearch and using your imagination....

and the first answer is a troll she earned -78 points this week...what does that say.....and she also say she doesnt eat anything that poops...its may shock you to know that plants excrete waste...sure not the same as animals but they still "p**p"

  12. I used to be a vegan for 3 years but it didn't work for me...my job is too brutal and I need full strength : lifting 200lbs of stuff every 20 minutes can blow out most guys.I eat only raw fruits and veggies....into the blender they go,gulp it down. Then I eat my cooked fish. Call me what you want, but in my "head" I am half vegan.
