A vegetable vendor near my house is clearly deceiving everybody.?

The shop is a big one and he is clearly giving less for the required weight. how to deal with this

  1. Call the county weights and measures office, these would be the same ones that check the pumps at gas stations to make sure the meters are accurate.


  2. Look at the advantage. You are getting vegetable at your doorstep. Count the time you will spend to going to market and efforts in carrying vegetables back home. The marginal premium price is justified.

    He is not going to build a palace out of the profit. You pay for just the service.

    as the others have suggested, talk to the nearby responsible office, "weights and mesures"...!

  4. if he deceive everybody- for long time.

    then he may be a  rowdy- and he may connected with a religious

    groups.. acts with precaution no one come to your help.

    sent letter to the weght and measure department, which is usual

    handled by the labour department in most state.

If you really wanted to I'm sure there is someplace to turn them in to, like maybe your county or state.  These days the cost of everything has gone up quickly because of the increase in the cost of gasoline and wages.  I don't know how you'd determine that this guy is deceiving, and we are free to deal anywhere we want to and there are lots of deceivers out there.. Either they jack up the price or they don't pay their credit card balances.

  11. first buy a couple of items , ask for bills and then get the items checked at some other place/ in your home. then name the shop in your question in this site and we will deal with that vendor nice and proper. in the meantime get the support of your neighbour if possible.
