Question:

A vegetarian meal?

i want to make a nice vegetarian meal for a couple of friends this evening but have no idea what to make and dont really have time to run to the store, in my cupboards i have

-potatoes, garlic, tomatoes, zucchini, carrots, fennel, green beans, rice and pasta and lots of herbs and spices

any ideas appreciated.

    Just adapt with the veg u have got  (zuchinni & courgettes are same thing)

    Either that or just pasta with all those veg thrown in.

    Maybe even roasted veg with baked potaoes.


  2. you could make a pasta pake with the pasta (obv!), potatoes sliced, 1 garlic clove, tomatoes and your own blend of herbs and spices.

  3. put the lot in baking tray plenty of olive oil rice and pasta in seperate bowls plenty of herbs on the veg.popa

  4. I would make the following:- Rice with saute of carrots, green beans and fennel seeds. Baked potates stuffed with Tomatoes, Zucchini salsa and granished with diff herbs, Pasta with dash of carrots, green beans and tomatoes mixed with herbs and spices.

  5. I'd cook the garlic, tomatoes, zuks, and fennel with italian spices and toss it in pasta. If that's not enough bake potatoes on the side.

    You could bake the potatoes and set up a potato bar, where they top the potato w/ whatever they want!

    For this recipe you need three pounds of medium potatoes, 1/4 teaspoon of salt, three tablespoons all-purpose flour, 1/8 teaspoons flour, 1/3 cup fat-free milk, four teaspoons of butter-flavored sprinkles, half a cup of water, and twelve ounces can evaporated low-fat milk.The potatoes should be washed, peeled, and sliced into quarters. Boil the potatoes covered in a saucepan for up to twenty-five minutes or until tender. Use an electric mixer on low speed, or a potato masher in order to mash the drain potatoes. Add salt and the butter-flavored sprinkles to the mixture. Heat the low-fat milk, and gradually beat the hot milk into the potatoes until they are fluffy.   8. grind the tomatoes and boil it to make pasta sauce and steam the other veggies..and the pasta too..flavor it with garlic and onions..

    -Grated carrot with diced tomatoes and garlic-oil-lime-salt-pepper-dressing

    -Curry vegetable of zucchini and green beans on rice

    -Roast potatoes with fennel ( or rosemary)

    -Pasta and tomato sauce ( oregano) with crushed garlic

  10. You could throw a great veggie lasagne or pasta bake together with that lot.

  11. im not good with veggie meals but i would probably steam some of the veg and cover with cheese sauce and maybe add some herbs and bake in oven and serve with dauphinoise potatoes with garlic in!!
