A very hard and tricky question: Who caused the deaths of more people, Dubya or Queen Victoria?

Some say more then half a million people died in Iraq as a result of the occupation of it by Dubya's army.

Not hard or tricky at all – Queen Victoria never had the constitutional power to start a war.

If one were searching for tenuous links then three of her relatives were leaders of their respective countries at the start of the First World War, so maybe if the crowned heads of Europe hadn't been so closely related and going at it like rabbits, the leaders might not have had such mutual animosity and 20 million would not have died (on the other hand counter-factual history is never productive).

Bush - most of Victoria's wars were small scale insurgencies - not the massive wars of today.

Compare the films Zulu and Three kings - it should give you an idea of the different scales of conflicts then and now.

This question isn't hard at all...Queen Victoria hands down...in just a 'minor conflict' called the Boer War her forces set up concentration camps to put all men, women and children in where one out of every two died...over 70,000 Afrikanners in one camp alone!  They can't even guestimate the total dead in India and in other 'colonies' in Africa, Asia, and Micronesia!!!!

Queen victoria is long gone. Dubya is killing now. So i dont think it matters who killed more. Just the fact he's managed to have so many people die is th real problem.

Sad that you have the right to vote.  Does anyone here recall Saddam's invasion of Kuwait and the ending of Desert Storm?  Something to do with a cease fire agreement that included inspections for weapons of mass destruction and how neither the UN or Clinton would actually support those inspections - to the point that the first Chief Weapons Inspector resigned in total disgust after repeatedly being denied access to various places of interest.

Who is responsible for having killed more?  The Queen oversaw the introduction of many labor laws.  Bush 43 has donated more than any other U.S. president in history to the prevention of AIDS in Africa and around the world.  So again, who has killed more?  Wilson, the Kasier, Lloyd George, Stalin, FDR and Hitler.  On average in  WW I, over 94,000 men lost their lives monthly.  In WW II, in the Battle of Stalingrad alone, the Russians lost over 395,000 and the Germans lost an estimated equal number.
