There was once a gilded fellow,

whom found himself abroad,

to who he knew not he owed

the pleasure of the trod.

He found his own possessions,

to be that of God's alone,

and with his spear,

and a horse to boot,

he sought out his pillared throne.

His palace in which he wondered,

was one of great prelude,

for others had owned it once,

and to them a throne renewed.

So his wandering was in place

And his possessions known to none,

For his reality,

And possessiveness,

Could put him on the run.

Though none knew that he was hiding,

From his own tempest mind.

For to him the walls did barricade,

But his travels forever wind.

  1. I have read this several times and I fail to understand what you are saying.  A further detail might give your readers a toehold.  What say you to that proposition??
