A very old puzzle....?

Question

There is an old rickety bridge... a man asks u to take his fox, chicken and bag of grain to the other side of the bridge. The fox will eat the chicken if left alone and the chicken will eat the grain if left alone. and u can only bring 1 over at a time. how do u do it? ( i expect this will be answered quickly it is very easy)

just eat the chicken then buy a new one when the fox and the grain is on the other side

you throw them one at a time??? or kill one of the animals and just get another one. or the bridge breaks because it's so old
