  4. 3-4 over 5= 2.2-3over4-1and 9over 20

  5. Total                  = 5 drumsticks

    Dad eats           = 2 drumsticks

                                 ------------------

    Bal                     = 3 drumsticks

    Son eats           = 3/4 of 3

                               = 2.25 (gdm eats 4/5 of 2.25=1.8 not relevant)

    Bal drumsticks  = 5-2-2.25

    Answer               = 0.75 drumstick

  6. 5 drumsticks -

    Dad eats 2

    Son eats 2.25 (if that's the calcualtion of whats left after dad eats 2 - cos if it wsa 3/4 of the beginning amount, their would not be enough drumsticks)

    Grandmother ate 4/5 of the sons 2.25

    5 - 2 = 3

    3 - 2.25 = 0.75

    = 3/4 of a drumstick
