The former Sampdoria star praises Massimo Moratti for the support and believes that the Nerazzurri will keep fighting for a third-place finish
Inter Milan striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giampaolo-Pazzini-c14802, believes that a victory over Juventus could put the season back on track for his side.
The Nerazzurri will travel to Juventus Stadium to take on Antonio Conte’s men in round 29 game of the season on Sunday, March 25. The Beneamata have witnessed an appalling run of form, which has seen them drop to the 7th
position in the Serie A standings.
Contrary to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567, Juventus are flying high this season, and are placed 2nd in the league standings, four points behind leaders AC Milan. The Turin giants are yet to lose a game this season.
However, Pazzini insists that despite the recent failures, his team is desperate to hand Juventus their first defeat of the season. The striker believes that such big games are tailored made for occasions where a struggling team
picks up the morale from.
The former Fiorentina striker has urged his teammates to win the game for the Nerazzurri President. He believes that Massimo Moratti has been so kind to them despite the slump, and it is now up to the players to give something
in return.
While talking to the reporters, Pazzini said:
“Motivation comes by itself in a game like this. Juventus have more to lose than us, while we want to do well, above all for President Massimo Moratti. The President has always stuck right by us and that is wonderful for the team,
to have someone like him putting his faith in us and pushing us forward. It’s important.”
The Italian international insisted that his team will continue fighting for the third-place finish, until it is mathematically over.
“We will continue to believe in third place until it becomes mathematically impossible. It’s pointless making calculations now or looking round to what the other sides are doing. First of all, we have to start winning.”
Inter trail third-placed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 by seven points and a victory against Juventus is extremely important if they want to hold any chance of featuring in the UEFA Champions League next season.
