2. The ongoing military operations between Sri Lankan forces and rebel forces of the Tigers of Tamil Elam in the island nation of Sri Lanka in the Indian Ocean.

There is a lot westerners don't know about the rest of the world.  many americans would be blown away if they knew about the rockets that constantly rain down on Israeli cities, often aimed at schools and building of that nature.

and i'm not even Jewish, or Israeli.

Liberia. If correct there was a dispute about elections like there was in Zimbabwe. Right now the focus is not on Liberia but on Zimbabwe
