  1. 160 million litres a day.

    Volume of solids = 60 x 160 = 9600 Litres of solids.

I dont know the mass cuz the density of the waste water or **** wasnt given.

  2. Another approach to the same answer:

If you have 60 parts per million than how pany parts are in 160 million?

    Set up a ratio:

    60/1,000,000  = X / 160,000,000

Solve for X and you get 9600 Liters of waste.

The density of water (H2O) is 1kg/Litre = 9600 kg

I saw 0.98 kg/litre on google for wastewater density so if that is true then 9600 * .98 = 9408 kg of solid waste

    Thats a lotta poo

  3. 60 per million * 160 million * 1 kg/litre = 9600 kg
