  1. Oh if only there was yahoo answers when I was taking physics in high school.  Well I won't do your homework for you but I'll steer you on the right path.  Also I can't finish the answer because I don't see what options you have for the "which of the following" part.

    I assume you're talking about the pressure exerted on the bottom of the tank, as if it were sitting on a scale.

    Think of the pressure being exerted as the weight of water distributed across the bottom of the tank.  In fact, the units they give you, kN divided by m^2 gives you the biggest hint you need.
