A way of thinking? Is it right?

As many know when buying a computer a new and better one is going to be coming out soon after.

Buying the newest model of computer and paying a great deal for it. Having any program or game toss my way in the next 5 years or more and not fear that my computer can't handle the job.

In your opinion is that true or false?

  1. Technically, it is said that a computer is obsolete within 3 months of it coming out. New parts are always coming out for PCs. News lines of graphics cards are coming out every few months now, and processors are looking to be the same way (Both have some technology coming out this fall)

While your computer may be able to play the newest games for a few years, it may not be able to play them on the highest settings.
