A way to save web pages to hard drive?

I need to know a way to save web pages to hard drive so they're available locally but at the same time when you use it locally it also synchronizes with any updates that they make to the webpage automatically. Keep in mind we're still connected to the internet just a slow connection so I can't imagine it would be hard to make small changes to the site but I'd load it locally so a majority of it doesn't have to load from the internet...how can I do this?

  1. I have mine saved right to my yahoo account, so no matter where I go, as long as the computer. You just either need the yahoo tool bar or just go the your yahoo bookmarks web page. That way you don't waste space on your computer.


  2. I know of no way to save a web site to disk and have it synchronize automatically.

    But this is essentially the purpose of your browser cache (which Internet Explorer calls "Temporary Internet Files" and Firefox calls "Offline Storage"). Set your browser cache to a very large amount of disk space, and it will keep as much on your local disk as you allow.
