A weather question for the midwest?

i was going to go to lake of the ozarks today, would it just be better if i avoided that area this weekend since it looks stormy? i go down there to boat

  1. Its tough to say but they say its suppose to be stormy. If only you lived in the North-East. The weather is beautiful.


  2. I live a little southwest of the Ozarks and did a quick look at the situation. I don't think I would let a little rain dampen any plans for the weekend. Yes there is a good chance of rain today but it would appear that most of that has already happened. The system is moving a little faster than the original forecast.

    Also there is slight chances for Sunday and Monday but this appears to be more of a hit or miss type and it is likely you wouldn't see anything more than a brief thunderstorm at worst. Would be rather unusual for the lake to see a total washed out weekend with this system.

    Just be prepared and have shelter available in case one does move in and wait it out. If I wasn't scheduled to work. I likely would be on Stockton Lake this weekend.

  3. You can avoid it and then plan a trip there when the weather looks most favorable to you.
