  1. My favorite language software, without doubt is Rosetta Stone.

    Pricey, but excellent.

    If money is an issue you might look for an older edition somewhere. (they just upgraded many)

    I use this in an English languae classroom and it promotes rapid mastery, (when used with targetted conversational practice too!)

    I also like the "coffee break" podcast series. I know that have a spanish series, I don't know about english though.
