A week Behind in Development???

Question

I am 10 weeks 4 days today. I had an u/s today and one 2 weeks ago because a am spotting (21/2 weeks now) My 8 week u/s measures right on my time line(8 weeks 1 day) but the u/s I had today measured me at 9 weeks 1 day. I have been sooo sick, puking, migranes, light bleeding and now this to fugure out.... any thoughts?

they are never 100% accurate.

they can only guess to within a fortnight, so my midwife said.

any more than 2 weeks difference, then worry.

How was the heartrate today?  Should be anywhere from the 130's to 160's.  Did they measure your progesterone level?   This is a blood test, progesterone is produced and maintained by the ovaries until the second trimester when the placenta takes over.  That could be the spotting.  Are they doing some serial serum hcg levels?  These should double in 48 hours.  I would ask about that too.
