A week after i got my ears piereced i put plugs in?

this was a stupid decision i went from studs to 10's and one ear seems to be infected does anyone know how i can get rid of the infection i read that you can flush your piercing with salt or something like that does that just mean pour salt water through the hole?

  1. Yes, make a saline solution with warm water and salt and perhaps a bit of Dettol and soak the area that looks infected. You could also try putting some Savlon on it. If I were you though, I'd just go to the doctor as soon as possible.


  2. Mix SEA salt with warm water and like dip your ear in the solution. And downsiize your holes back to your starting point

  3. Are you joking? No offence but that is beyond stupid. You went from studs to size 10 plugs? How did you manage that without splitting your ear lobes open? You need to get the plugs out as soon as possible. If they heal around the plugs, you are going to have serious problems. The scar tissue will seal the plugs in (especially if they're the flared type) and you will end up with a really nasty infection and probably have to have them cut out under local anaesthetic. Get to a doctor and make sure you've not got blood poisoning. You've probably damaged your lobes quite badly and may need to have stitches. Did the people you bought them from, not advice you how to do it properly or were you showing off to your friends?
