That's what it feels like. I use the syringe the oral surgeon gave me to get food out with, but no matter how many times I try,it won't come out.

It is kind of sharp and I have even tried putting my finger back there to get it out,but it won't budge.I'm afraid to pull too hard because I'm not sure if it's food or not.

  1. You should call your dentist and go see them if you think something is stuck in there.  You could get an infection in there (like I did) and you do NOT want THAT.

  2. I've heard that after it's started to heal, sometimes little bits of bone will be able to be felt... Perhaps that's what it is? If you're unsure, you should call your dentist.

  3. could it be blood clot which have dried up from the stiches or smtg??

  4. it is possiable that it is bone. I thought I had food in one of the holes when I had mine taken out but it was bone, if your really worried call your dentist. After a few weeks the holes will get smaller and less problems with food getting stuck in there.

    Good luck!
