A week before my period i get severe ovary pain?

a week before my period i get severe ovary pain. I am n birth control, its my first month. Even before i started taking birth control i have had this but it seems to have worsened.

If you have it about the same time every month, it could be pain associated with ovulation.  I get that pain like clockwork when I'm ovulating.  It could be cysts on the ovaries that flare up during ovulation; harmless, but painful.  Try taking Saw Palmetto capsules and see if that doesn't alleviate the pain.  Gynecologists will often say Saw Palmetto and all herbal remedies are rubbish, but I've been using them successfully for years and I'm still here.

However, if it is getting worse, don't play around.  See a doctor in case it's anything serious.  You may need to have your pill changed.
