A week late for my period and a negitve pregnancy test is it normal to be this late sometimes???

I was supposed to get my period around the 27th or 28th of august today is the first of september and no period yet. I dont feel like im going to get it at the time when i was expecting it i felt like i was pmsing because i was very moody kinda like usual cramping, super sleepy,. But i do know that i have be having unprotected s*x and he has came in me 2 times so i took a test (clear blue digital) and it said not pregnant... I was on the depo and it ended two months ago ( july 1st) and i got my period july 27th - 28th ( i took the test on the 30th) so thats why i been expecting it so is this normal or should i retest in another week???

  1. Take a test in another week, it can take a few weeks for the results to show up. Yes your period can be a week late, but since you had unprotected s*x a few times, you honestly are probably pregnant. Good luck with everything!


  2. Yes...that is normal

    Depo Provera may make your periods off. It may take up to 6 months to become regular again. If you stress, that can also cause a late period.

    Check again in about a week. IF still no answer or period after a month of your 'period due date' go have a pregnancy blood test. Some women have a had time telling if there pregnant the urine way.

  3. Its absolutely normal to be late sometimes. Sometimes the female body just readjusts itself and sometimes your body can change as you get older from a 28 day cycle to a longer one, or sometimes to a shorter one. You'll find that as you get older over the years there will be several times your body changes the length of its cycle.
