A weird dream...waiting room for death...a kiss of death?

In my dream I was in this building, outside near the ledge with a bunch of people on one side and other people on the other side, waiting in the building and outside of it. They were all standing around in a "waiting room" to be taken away to be killed or tortured. People were apparently numbered but some of us on our side did not get their number yet, so as a result, some were called randomly. This black kid was near me and he was saying he hoped that he would get a high number because he didn't want to be taken away just yet.

I felt very frightened.

Then i might have woke up and fell back asleep instantly or just gained some conscious awareness because I suddenly realized that this was probably a dream (I wasn't positive, but was almost sure). I began to feel more at ease and I started to tell the group to just write a high number on the white board (Ours was blank but I think it was supposed to have the maximum number that would be called, written by one of the people in charge who was killing the people). Rebelliously I told people around me to write something very high like 500. I then decided to try to make a run for it since I wasn't afraid of being caught and punished if possible. I started to taunt this woman who was in charge, and then I ran out of the building and down the streets. She comes after me and is really fast and then she grabs me. She puts her face really close to mine and I say kind of jokingly, "What, are you going to kiss me?" She then kisses me on the lips and a number appears on my forehead, being in the 200s. I am taken back to the area. I was only kind of nervous that maybe this wasn't a dream. People were being taken away left and right.

Later on I notice someone from school among the people waiting for their death. I start to taunt the woman in charge again. "I don't care if they get me. Right? she knows!" I say at the woman, pointing at her. I then pretend to faint or drop from exhaustion just for attention and the person I know from school holds me with concern. At this point I knew it was dream.

Anyone know what this dream could possible mean?

  1. Marissa seems to have a good with the number things. I think the part about the "waiting room of death" could be about the Holocaust. Have you been thinking about the Holocaust, and just not caring about it? Your sub-consciousness could be telling you that the Holocaust was in fact very important, and that that dream was just a tiny replica of what happened in World War II. I think Marissa is right about the numbers.

  2. To dream of kissing an enemy, signifies betrayal, hostility, or reconciliation with an angry friend. Consider also the saying "this kiss of death". If you are kissed by a stranger, then your dream is one of self-discovery. You need to get more acquainted with some aspect of yourself.

Also lets take the fact that you dreamed of "being numbered". Lets first break down the "500"-

To dream zero in your dream- Zero denotes timelessness, super-conscious, eternity, and absolute freedom. It also symbolizes God.

To dream the number 5- Five represents your persuasiveness, spontaneity, daring/bold nature, action or the five human senses. This number may reflect a change in course. It is also the link between heaven and earth.

Then you dreamed of being in the "200's"- We already covered Zero.

But dreaming of the number two- Two stands for balance, diversity, partnership, soul, or receptivity. It can also symbolize double weakness or double strength. There is a duality as in male and female, mother and father, yin and yang, etc.

To dream that you are frightened at anything, signifies temporary and fleeting worries.

I hope I helped a little. I couldn't think of any other interpretation that would go with the death part. But good luck! Interesting dream by the way.

  3. You have been, are or will be persecuted by someone.
