A weird noise outside?

Me and my older sister are both on our computers and it's 1:10 am...She's directly across from the front door, and we heard a loud thump on the porch. Both our dog and cat are in the crate, and we don't know what it is. Should we ignore it, go investigate, or run the **** away or what??

is someone else home? cuz thats what you need to do is find an adult. plus its probably nothing so dont worry bout it. that happens on my porch all the time. it might also be the house shifting or wind. do u have a porch swing? cuz when its windy mine bangs around out there and is very loud

take a bat or something and go investigate. but be sure you have a buddy with you at all times(lol)
