A weird question please read more before you think I'm crazy. What is the best way to look good when flying?

Ok, My husband is deployed right now. He might "might" be picking our 14 month old daughter and I up from the airport. I wouldn't care what I'd look like at all. But we haven't seen each other in Months and I've lost 30lbs so i want to look good when he sees me. Our flight is going to be a 9 hour flight.

Now why is he picking us up. Because we are station overseas and I can't drive there. So instead of staying there while he was gone. We came back to the states to be with family. Most of the family hasn't seen our daughter.

Since he cannot meet you at the gate anyway, after you get off theplane, go to the ladies room and wash up and if you use makeup, do a fresh job. Maybe even change your clothes. Have a wrinkle proof outfit in your carry on bag.

Just remember that if your do your makeup, it all has to be those small travel size containers, and all bit in a quart size zip lock bag.

Really, he won't care what you look like. The minimal thing to do is just to pop in some breath mints as you go to the luggage claim area.

a nice pair of jeans,s**y but comfortable shoes.wear comfortable top while on  board.once you land go to the rest room and change onto a nice s**y but conservative top.remember he cant come to the the gate so you can change.

     Shower.

     Use a mild scent when using perfume/body spray.

2- Think Comfort

     Easy, Breathable Fabrics(non-wrinkle if you can)

     FIT, Please make sure they FIT !

These two rules should cover any person. Being comfortable is a must on a cramped airplane. you are not going to want to wear tight, frilly clothes while squeezed ito a seat. As for the scent, your favorite cotton candy sparkling body spray may make others sick. Sometimes smells cause people to have headaches, and on a pressurized plane that is no fun!

You mentioned a 14mo old also, same rules apply. She is not going to be happy when she sees Daddy, if you had her wear an itchy dress with tights and shoes that pinch her toes.

Just be clean and comfortable, everything else will fall into place.

1st off....way to go on losing weight!  Get yourself a cute little black dress, some colorful jewelry.... and of course cute shoes!  Black always looks slimming....and he will notice the weight loss asap!  Don't forget a small purse... you will look great any way you go!!!

Congrats on the weight loss, it's not easy. I think the best thing to do is to wear a outfit that you feel comfortable and confident in. Also pack a small compact brush and some make-up that you can carry on a plane and check youself out before you land.
