It was online and it was in a comic book with a couple of other stories. Does anyone know the name of it? I remember there wa sthis one scene where her husband was l*****g her foot and it was like her mom was telling her how she got her feet bound. It was a mix between a fairy tale and the real thing.

  1. was this an adult comic book? lol.

  2. sounds super crazy..... wtf?

  3. sounds perverted

  4. It's exactly as you state it.  I'm glad it got banned in the early 1900s.  The things people will do for fashion...even to this day...is just mind-boggling.

  5. Young Chinese girls of wealthy families had their feet bound because having tiny feet (like what we would consider size 1!)

to be the ultimate in sexual attraction. The feet would be

bound when the girl was very young and her bones would be crippled because they couldn't grow and stretch properly.

The foot would be called "the Golden Lotus" and was definitely an object of foot fetish for Chinese men. The other thing was that these women could not walk on these feet so it showed that if you had a wife with tiny feet and she couldn't walk you were an wealthy and important man because you could have servants to do all the work (working class had big ugly feet because they weren't bound) When the Communist

tried to ban this practice people would stash the girls away so they wouldn't find them. They actually had 'foot inspectors'

come around and unbind the feet of old women who had these grotesque crippled feet. The women were horrified because it was like standing naked in front of strangers to show your foot bare. It didn't do any good. Their feet were permanently crippled and they still could not walk.  It was

a disgusting practice and another example if I may preach here of how men mutilate women for their own ends like genital mutilation.
