I found a white spider with two pink lightning marks going up its sides in my garden. Anybody know what it is, and if it is poisonous?

  1. I bet you will be able to find your spider here -

  2. if it has pink markings, it's probably a female Goldenrod Crab Spider. they are called this becasue they are usually found handing out on goldenrod (solidago) flowers, so you probably found it in your flower garden. they are pretty much harmless to humans and they aren't at all aggressive. here's a picture of the spider, to make sure we're talking about the same one http://magickcanoe.com/spiders/m-vatia-o...

    hope this helps.
