  1. A wiggle in time or a wiggle in space is the interpretation of measurements.

Suppose a field is defined as an infinite number of points infinitely close together with a way to measure the distance between all points and a way to determine the time of each point.  If this field existed in a gravity free space, the distance and time measurements would be different than if the measurement were made in a gravitational field.  If you then took the measurements and plotted them on a piece of paper and then described the plots, you might describe the plots as showing a curved space and time.  You might also describe them as a warped space and time or a wiggle in space and time.
