A window on my comp wont close?

Question

So I have another window open on my computer and I minimized it so i could get to this screen. Then when I tried to get back in to the other one, I clicked on it and it didn't do anything at all except depress and "repress?". Anyway even when I right click it won't say close window or anything! It's getting really annoying cuz I need to get into that program! Please help!

try reinstalling that particular program... does it show as not responding in task manager??

Start Task manager (press Control-****-Esc at the same time). If the program you want to close is under "applications" just select it and cklick on "End Task."  In some cases, you may have to find it under "processes" and terminate the process. The latter is the way to do it when you browse to a site that opens Adobe Reader. The process name is AcroRead.

Try Control-Alternate -Delete to bring up Task Manager, and "End Task" the program there. If that doesn't do it, I think worse has come to worse. Gotta bite the bullet, break the egg....etc and shut down from Task Manager.

maybe hit the desktop button on the tool bar?
