  2. I would look for a brand name and a model number if you can find it.  Is it horse drawn?  Does it just cut or what exactly does it do?

Please post some more details and I'll check this question later.  Lots of people around here have stuff like this and I might be able to give you a ball-park dollar value.

The terminology is different where I live.  Sorry, don't have an answer for you.

To the thumbs downers, I'm above that kid stuff and you didn't bother me a bit.  Have a nice day.

  3. Dr. T  gave you your answer when you asked before.

  4. Contact "Cheffins" at Mepal sale ground with the details of the machine, you will find them very helpfull.

  5. I suggest selling it on eBay.  If you want to get the most accurate estimate of it's value, you should have it appraised.  Otherwise, here is a link to one that recently sold on eBay:

Given that right now one pound is equivalent to about $2, this sole for about $650.   Also, if yours is older than this one, it could go for even more.

  6. Is it by any chance a Thames?

  7. This is too specialised for ebay. I'd recommend you selling it via a local farming auction house. There's bound to be at least one listed in your local yellow pages.
