starts crying and won't stop. She appears to be alright, and she continues walking while re-adjusting her ruffled sea-green sweater. She starts walking down the corner by where you are standing and waiting at the bus stop. She's crying and starting to cause a scene. What do you do?

  1. well, i would simply ask her if she had taken her meds today.

  2. Is this one of them riddle things??  Probably not because you asked it in etiquette, but the way you said re-adjusting her ruffled sea green sweater makes me wonder......if it is a true story, I would probably just keep walking.   She's probably having  a bad day or something.

  3. Give her a hug.

  4. I would ask her if she is okay or if she needs any help- everyone deserves that kind of courtesy. You also want to make sure that she is not psychologically impaired. It is quite possible that someone could look very well kept and be imparied.

  5. Aww. The poor thing!!!

I would go up to her and ask her if she is okay and if I can help her in anyway. The POOR thing, I would feel sad for her. Did that happen to you?

    :(

  6. Stop and ask if there is anything you can do to help.

  7. Nothing...she's just having a bad day.

  8. I only was crying dear, because sea green never matched my eyes and someone said I should wear that darn sweater and it was much too hot, too.... Did I really cause such a scene.. I thought I was only crying... I guess I might have had a wee bit of Baileys.. my favourite drink... sorry if I upset you.. . good job you went on your bus.. I was fine after a while I walked back home and changed into a burgundy coloured polo shirt..  that made me feel better....xxxx

  9. I'd get up off the sidewalk after my own trip and ask her to help me stand up. Of course she'd be so distracted by me falling over and crying that she'd stop and ask where I bought my ruffled sea-green sweater because it looks so much like hers.
