A business person. something that would use inclusive language that is not sexist.

  1. I'm also with Picador on this one.  Businesswoman is fine.  

    I  suppose you could also use "professional" or "entrepreneur," depending on the type of businesswoman.


  2. Yes, business woman is fine.  Although it is on the brink of absurdity, Political Correctness has yet to stuff "Businessperson" down our throats.

  6. Lady is a polite social term for a woman. This is not necessary or appropriate in business situations.

    Businesswoman or business person is fine; business executive might sound better and more complimentary.

  8. I'm with picador, I think businesswoman is fine (if you are talking about a woman of course).

    Like it or not, there is still no such thing as an abstract 'person'--we are all either men or women!
