  1. From.........? Where is it leaking? If you notice a leak around the floor area, then it is probably the wax seal. Be more specific as to where it is leaking and we can help!

  2. What area is the leak coming from? A toilet can leak gallons a day but still work.

  3. Tell me what part is leaking? Do you mean, onto the floor? or water is still running into the toilet?

  4. If the leak is from underneath the toilet, it could be the connection to the sewer system. Could be the wax ring used to seal the toilet or the closet flange could have broke. You will have to pull the toilet to determine.

If the water is leaking out of the tank, first check the outside to see if the leak is on any of the bolts that hold the tank down to the bowl, the gasket between the bowl and the tank, or on the water supply line. They make repair kits for each of these items

If the leak is from the tank into the bowl, it's probably the flapper valve or the ballcock valve. If the tank water level is above the overflow and keeping the ballcock valve open, you need a new ballcock valve. If the ballcock opens and closes repeatedly, then it's the flapper valve. These also are available at the hardware store.

If you can figure out a more specific question, you can get a more detailed answer. If you can't figure out what is leaking, it's time to call out a plumber.

  5. Did you replace the beeswax ring when you reset the toilet?  Also, check the fittings on the water input & output as well

  6. Ya I would agree with the first guy... my husband is a plumber, but if no one knows where your toilet leaks, I dont think anyone can help you?? Give us more info.
