I know it presents a gloomy picture.

Let me know how to conceal it on other major/minor marriage related events.

TV concealer stick then foundation then loose powder?

  1. I would use proactive> it literally shrinks pimples over night!

if your really in a hurry (duh) to get the acne gone, i would, after doing the three steps , put on the refining mask... whats good is that it doesnt cake on, and its easy to wash off, plus> it leaves your skin moisturised! ( without getting it oily!!!!

    TRY IT.

  2. First of all, don't use liquids or creams or anything with talc. They suffocate your skin, clog your pores and aggravate the acne.

I'd recommend mineral based products. Specifically the following:

Hollywood mineral foundation from LA Minerals (covers really well, hides imperfections, lines, scars and has light reflecting ingredients that just makes your skin look smooth)

Their concealers: green one to cover red spots. yellow one for scars or dark under-eye circles. Bisque for everyday concealing.

Their Veil: absorbs excess oil, and just makes your skin look even smoother and better. YOu will LOVE THE STUFF!!!!

The samples are plenty for several days, and the concealer probably for weeks! They ship them free. I'd get some NOW so that you can try it out, find the right shade, start letting your skin heal, and have time to order full size stuff before the wedding.

It is sooooo worth it!!! Stay away from bare minerals or any others with talc or bismuth oxychloride, irritates skin and clogs pores.

  3. Ya, but I would recommend putting foundation first and then using a concealer brush (not your finger) to dab on concealer where needed. Set with some loose translucent powder and the rest of the makeup and you're good to go..

PS use a primer first on your face before putting on your makeup. It preps your skin and will help the makeup stay on longer..

    Congratulations! :]

  4. depending on when your wedding day is i would get proactiv. It REALLY helps stop acne! But, if you don't have a week or so to start this, i would eat very little junk food so you don't get more acne, also a trick i've used that works really well is put toothpaste onto your acne, leave it on for about 3 minutes and that'll dry your acne up good.

Now, for the makeup, definetely put a concealer stick on them if they're really noticeable, then put on a foundation; preferably a medium/full coverage one to make sure your covering those zits up, then put on your powder.

  5. It all depends on how bad your acne is.

Make sure you use a good product with acne medication-I use neutrogena and aveeno clear complexion pads. I found that; since my acne wasn't bad- I just had to get rid of the marks. I use the neutrogena acne scar mark fader-it starts to fade marks within 3 days! However, since you sound like your short on time use Bare minerals. If you can go to their store or sephora and they will demonstrate how quickly it covers and controls shine through the day. If you have marks that are raised or pimples use philosophy clear make-up cream under the bare minerals. It gives it a even surface under makeup.

    Hope this helps!
