A1 Racing - Gold and Private services. Anyone used these or know anything about them? Blurb looks good.?

I would like to hear from anyone using these services. Are they profitable? What is the strike rate and average SP's. Any info would be appreciated.

They might well be brilliant,  but,  when you see, £200 per point here and £50 per point to s.p. and some times only 8 winning months per year in my brain it rings alarm bells!!

Many years ago I answered an advert in a reputable racing paper for "the colonel". His ad showed a winner every Saturday. For three consecutive weeks I was given a loser, but he still advertised winners. I complained to the paper and was told that he had twenty different priced letters every Saturday-his ad was for the best priced one that won.

I will never be caught like that again so unless I see a complete list, not just such and such a months profit, I wouldn't touch it with a barge pole.!!!!!!!!

Keep away from tipsters as they are just after your giving them a stake.   Read the Racing Post Weekender for £2.30 per week and learn gradually for yourself but be warned it is not an easy game to play but if you are bright enough you can learn to make it pay as a hobby.
