A350 or A200?

I just want a camera thats really good and convenient.

This is my first powerful camera and i was wondering if i should spend an extra 300 dollars on a newer version of the a200? P.S if it cant run on a mac please tell me....

Go for the Sony A300. Its a 10.2mp camera and the A350 is 14.2mp. Its doubtful that you'd be able to distinguish images from either camera so save some money with the A300. You can use the savings for another lens.
