  1. why would u want to quit lol? cheers

  2. AA is a cult... read the steps... The thirteenth step is drinking poisoned kool-aid and waiting for the flying saucer to pick you up.

  3. Agree - I'm not quitting but its not affecting my life too badly in a negative way

Some people should be forced to quit - AA

  4. AA is for quitters - the world hates quitters!

  5. No in the smart hands its a tool.Your right though, that you have to have the desire to quit,to be able to quit.Without that your just wasting time. For me(a meth head and pot smoker since the '80's) it was a simple desire and an education in behavior.I was able to break the cycle because i wanted to.

After all the ultimate decision was mine to make(that phrase use to really P!ss of my rehab counselors) because yes,you really do have to tear yourself down physically and psycologically, but since it was my decision,l am still the same person i was before entering rehab and AA/NA.I agree with what Rush Limbaugh used to say,its your decision to use or not use,and AA/NA just gave me the tools to understand it.I used to laugh and run circles arounf the counselors whenever they brought in Frued etc,(Frued was big cocaine user by the way) but as far as the chemical reactions in your body(IE cravings etc) it made sense.

Basically it all comes down to one thing, what is it that you want, because you only get what you give in any thing in life.

  6. If a person doesn't want to stop nothing in the world will help them--that is until they are six feet under.
