I have been lent an external hard drive with AAC audio files and MP3s to download to my laptop. I can play them ok but i have to open each file to see what the song is. Is there any software that i can download to my laptop which will allow me to scroll through the files giving me the artist and song track, as would happen if i used an ipod etc.

Many thanks for your help

  2. i do not know of any such programs i just use windows media player

  3. It sounds like you need to add the "tags" and titles to your songs. You can manually add them in iTunes. This can be tricky if you don't know what the song is though.

I use "Shazam" from my mobile phone (http://www.shazam.com/music/portal)

It's kind of freaky the way it works but IT WORKS!

    It's free too
