  1. Maybe the person taking it is psychotic and needs it, but there is so much marketing corruption in the psych industry today, I have grave doubts that a person chosen at random on abilify actually needs it.

The stuff falls into the class of drugs called atypical antipsychotic drugs, they started coming out about 15 years ago. But, it was a lie from the get go. They claimed to be more effective with less side effects than the typical antipsycotics, 10 years later it was found that this was not the case. They put the blame on the small scale/short term studies. Small scale/short term lies for profit more accurate description.

The stuff promotes diabetes, for most psychotics they and society would be better off without the meds, and the high prices of the product being better vented towards visiting nurses/housekeepers to keep an eye on them for a help. Or better yet set them working on their own organic farm.

Idle hands are the devil's workshop.

  2. If you are taking an anti-psychotic, you do exactly what your physician tells you even if it means continuing to take it.

This is nothing to mess around with. You aren't qualified to make the proper decisions and neither are we.
