Question:

ABORTION Does the fetal being has the right to decide on its own body?

Some people say that abortion should remain legal because "a woman has the right to decide on her body and life".

But what about those little female and male fetal persons whose bodies are dismembered with scissors and whose life are finished?

Does abortion imply to defend human rights or, on the contrary, to attack them?

Those who support abortionist political groups, such as left wing, should consider these facts.

  1. The right to life of the unborn doesn't even register on the pro-abortion crowd's radar screens.

They have shown time and time again that they don't give a rat's tail about the lives of the unborn.

Of course, it's easy for them to say that -- because they don't have to worry about an abortion being performed on them.    They've already been born.

Pro-abortion women's four favorite words in the English language are "I," "me," "my," and "mine."

There's only one word to describe such an attitude -- selfishness.

    .

  2. As soon as it's 18 it does.

FYI a woman can drink, smoke and do drugs while pregnant if she so chooses most of us do not because we are aware of the effect it could have on a WANTED fetus.

Edit: I did not mention socioeconomic status. As far as I am concerned you can abort for whatever reason(s) you choose.

    Your body your eggs!

You are now off topic.  What happens to the aborted fetus (although most abortions occur before this stage) is another story but would you prefer it just be put in the trash?

  3. Tough one.

I think a foetus has to rely on it's mother as it's status is as her parasite effectively.

What if a woman faces death if she continues with the pregnancy? Does the foetus over rule the woman.

Also to say that 'foetal persons are dismembered with scissors' not only makes you sound ignorant and melodramatic, but shows you have limited knowledge of the subject matter.

My husband was brutally murdered twelve years ago. I found I was pregnant, I was in no state to have another child (I already have two) and I was having a nervous breakdown. I am not proud and I did not do it lightly, but I had an abortion and I do not regret it.

This is not a black and white issue, there should be more understanding when women have difficult circumstances.

  4. How about this---if a fetus ever has a body within itself, then it can have the right to decide what happens to that body.

  5. I wholeheartedly agree with you. If the fetus isn't a person, then why not let women drink, smoke and take drugs when they're pregnant? Yet, if a woman posted that as a question, she'd be stoned in cyberspace. Everyone wants to have it both ways. Moral relativism is thriving and causing incredible chaos everywhere.

  6. the fetus is not a being without it's mother, until it is born. Does it decide anything? except to eat and cry and eliminate waste? No it does not decide those things, it does them because it is part of nature. If a woman has a miscarriage is she guilty of allowing her baby to die?

  7. Abortion is not a sin, though blasphemy and idolatry are. To say that human copulation (which the Bible calls unclean) has the power to bestow life is blasphemy. No mere act of man can negate the fact that only God bestows life, by giving the fully formed body, breath. Asserting that human life begins at conception is counter to the claims of the word of God and is a sin. It is doubly a sin because this debased belief leads others to sin. Those that kill clinic workers, harass clients and attempt to legislate this wayward belief lead innocent believers down a road to murder and depravity.

  8. Does the fetal being has the right to decide on its own body?

    The answer is NO

Any child under the age of 8 does not have the right to choose what is can do with it's own body, the child is whole the responsibility of the parent.  After 8 the child has some legal rights, but is still Mostly the the responsibility of the parent.  Someone else asked can a 12 year old girl decide weather she would like to start dating, the answer is no, she much have parental approval first.  Can the same girl decide that she wants to have s*x?  No, according the the laws of the land it is considered rape if someone has s*x with her.  Can a 19 girl decide that she wants to use heroin?  No, the laws of the land have said that no one should use that substance and she does not have the freedom to decide what she wants to do with her own body.  If a 40 year old women gets and uzi and kills everyone in an abortion clinic she would get the death penalty and be killed for the decision to use her body to stop abortions.

So if at no time in our lives do we have the freedom to do what ever we want with our own bodies then a fetus gets no more rights then anyone else.
