AC Milan's Alessandro Nesta all praise for Ignazio Abate and Thiago Silva – Serie A Update
AC Milan centre back, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ignazio-Abate-c16673 and Thiago Silva, for making one of the best defences in the Italian top flight. Nesta, while talking to Milan’s official channel, praised Abate and Silva, second time
in a week that the two defenders were applauded by fellow Milanistas.
Abate, who initially played as an out-and-out winger, has been deployed at the right-back berth by the Rossoneri and the defender has won many admirer with his performances.
While talking about the right footed defender Abate, Nesta said:
“He’s a good lad who always applies himself. He was used to another role, but by working seriously he has demonstrated himself to be an excellent full-back who could go on and play for Italy. He’s always smiling too and feels at home in the dressing room.”
Nesta believes that Abate has developed over the years to perfectly fit the right back position, while http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 has proven his reliability with some excellent performances this season.
Talking about the Brazilian centre back, Milan’s veteran defender said:
“Milan have some solid foundations for the future. Thiago Silva, for example, can be a guarantee for the defence for the next 10 years.”
The Brazilian defender was also hailed by the head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, as he believes that he has played a vital part in Milan's potentially Scudetto winning campaign. “He is a player with no equals in the world. He plays at three levels higher
than everyone else.” Allegri had said.
Nesta, now 36-year-old, has doubts regarding his future wearing the red and black jersey as his contract expires next month. with a transfer being an unlikley notion, this might be the end of a legendary career.
