AC Milan's boss Massimiliano Allegri believes four points enough to secure the title – Serie A Update
AC Milan's head coach, Massimiliano Allegri, reckons that four points from the remaining four games in the Serie A will be enough to secure the Scudetto this season. Milan currently holds an eight point lead at the top of the league table and have virtually
won the Serie A after a drought of seven years in the Italian top flight.
The Azzurri lead the points table with 74 points, eight point lead ahead of the defending Champions Inter Milan. The title went out of the range of the Nerazzurri when they lost the Derby della Madonnina and AC Milan have shown great consistency on the field.
With just four games remaining in the season, the Milan coach believes that if they manage to win a solitary point from each game, they will secure the title, making it impossible for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003 to have a shot at the title.
Allegri is very content with the output of the team and he believes the team has performed exceptionally well under tough conditions. While being interviewed by Sky Italia, Allegri said.
“Sunday might not be enough. We must only think about these four points to see us win the League. We have done everything possible. The team has given the maximum considering its possibilities. We certainly could have beaten Tottenham. We didn't, but we
have nothing to reproach ourselves for.”
The tactician seemed to be very happy with the new players that came to the club during the ongoing season and he said, “The club has worked in an excellent manner, both in August with the arrivals of Robinho, Boateng and Yepes, and in January in a moment
in which we had 12 injuries and there was need of new investment. I am happy with what Cassano has done; he has been decisive in many games.”
Talking about the future of Azzurri, the head coach said that the team is focused on winning the Serie A and also looking forward to produce the best of results in the Coppa Italia. So winning the two titles is currently on top of priority for the team and
the coach.
Il Diavolo are to go to the Stadio Renzo Barbera for the second leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals. The Men in Red and Black jersey’s were held back to a 2-2 stalemate in the first leg at San Siro by the Rosanero. So now the return leg is a very important
